MINMINER S.A., is a company in the energy mining sector, which develops its business lines in; exploitation, transformation and national and international commercialization of high quality thermal, metallurgical and coke coals, with an environmentally and socially sustainable operation.
Its actions are aimed at the proper use and management of natural resources, the prevention of pollution and compliance with legal requirements to maintain and improve environmental performance, as well as contributing to sustainable development, social balance and conservation of the environment.
Natural space where it operates, delimited by the 1921T concession contract. In this way, MINMINER S.A. undertakes to:
- Continuously improve the process of exploitation and benefit of mineral coal to reduce environmental impacts.
- Comply with applicable environmental legislation.
- Protect the ecosystems of the company's direct and indirect areas of influence, conserving the micro hydrographic basins of the area of influence.
- Establish cleaner production as a preventive strategy for the conservation of the environment by reducing consumption of water and energy.
- Prevent, reduce, control and mitigate the generation of emissions, discharges and solid waste.
- Disseminate and communicate the environmental policy and objectives to all interested parties.





HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY AT WORK
- The General Management of the company Minas y Minerales “MINMINER SA” concerned about the comprehensive protection of all its employees, contractors, subcontractors and the environment, reaffirms its commitment to the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System – SG -SST, and for the promotion of the quality of working life and the prevention of incidents and accidents at work, occupational diseases and damage to society and the environment; having as a basic guideline continuous improvement with high safety standards.
The aforementioned demarcated under the compliance with the Applicable Colombian Legislation on Health and Safety at Work and other standards that the organization subscribes.
Our policy is to have an operation free of all risk factors that endanger the physical and mental integrity of our collaborators on all work fronts both in mining operations, as well as classification and marketing of our product. The development of this policy will be done through the implementation of the SG-SST, from the identification of hazards and assessment of risks associated with the mining activity (rock detachment, floods, explosions, gases, particulate matter, projection of particles, contact dangerous energy, noise, forced postures, handling of machines, equipment and tools, among others).
Likewise, the General Management will strive for a safe and healthy work environment in each of the services it provides by identifying hazards, evaluating, assessing risks and determining controls; for which it will define and assign all the financial, technical and human resources necessary for the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System – SG-SST.

Scope
The scope of the Quality Management System described here corresponds to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, and is defined as:
“La Chisgua Mine coal exploitation, collection and commercialization of mineral coal and production of metallurgical coke. Marketing of personal protection elements, pneumatic hammers, rail, den, and industrial safety equipment, for the development of mining work ”.
It has been considered within the Quality Management System not to apply the numeral “8.3. Design and Development of Products and Services ”because the organization in its mineral exploitation, preparation and marketing processes currently only uses the combination and homogenization of coals with different properties, so that the mixtures meet market requirements . These activities are validated and certified by the SGS laboratory. The foregoing does not affect the marketed product or compliance with the management system.
The boundaries of the Management System and its performance will be affected by the following relevant stakeholders:
